These Terms of Use govern the use of the mobile application mina ("App"), provided by mina cosmos AG (hereinafter "we" or "us").
The App provides content related to the female cycle, women’s health, and education. It is intended exclusively for private use.
By using the App, you agree to these terms.
2. Purpose of the App
The App provides information and content on cycle and women’s health knowledge.
It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have health issues or are unsure, please consult medical professionals.
Note on cycle calculations and symptom tracking:
The app helps you understand your cycle and provides a purely calendar‑based estimation of ovulation, based on the cycle information you enter yourself. You can also record personal symptoms and observations to develop a better sense of your body. These entries are used solely to display your own information and are not processed to generate any health‑related recommendations.
The app does not provide statements or recommendations regarding fertility, conception, or contraception, and it does not replace medical advice. All displayed content is for general orientation only and is provided without guarantee. Use of the app is at your own responsibility.
3. Use of the App
- The App may only be used for private purposes.
- Content may not be copied, shared, or used commercially.
- You are responsible for the secure use of your device and your locally stored data.
- The App requires no registration and no account.
4. Local Data Storage
The App is designed so that all data is stored exclusively locally on your device.
We:
- do not store user data on our own servers
- have no access to your content
- cannot view, restore, or delete your data
If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be removed. This means that responsibility for backup and storage lies with you as the user.

5. Premium Features and In-App Purchases
The App offers optional premium features that can be unlocked via an in-app subscription.
- Processing is handled via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- We use RevenueCat for the technical management of subscriptions.
- RevenueCat receives only the transaction and minimal technical data necessary for processing (e.g., device used).
- RevenueCat does not receive any content you store in the App.
Prices, terms, and cancellation conditions are governed by the respective store policies and the chosen subscription.
For minors, the respective store policies on use and payment authorization apply.
6. Availability and Changes
We strive for a stable and secure App but cannot guarantee continuous availability.
We reserve the right to change, expand, or discontinue features.
Material changes to the terms affecting premium features will be communicated either in the App, in the stores, or through other appropriate channels.
7. Disclaimer
- The App does not replace medical advice.
- Use is at your own responsibility.
- We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of App content.
- We are not liable for damages caused by technical issues, data loss on the device, or improper use.
- We are not liable for damages caused by the loss of locally stored data.
- Statutory liability claims (e.g., for intent or gross negligence) remain unaffected.
8. Rights to Content
All content of the App (texts, illustrations, designs, trademarks) is protected by copyright.
Any use outside of the App requires our written consent.
9. Termination of Use
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
An active subscription must be cancelled via the relevant App Store. The respective App Store policies apply exclusively to revocation, refund, and cancellation.
10. Age Requirements and Use by Minors
10.1 Target Audience
The App is primarily aimed at people aged 16 and over who wish to learn about their cycle, body, and cycle-related health. We cannot verify the age of users, as no personal data is collected.
10.2 Use by Younger Persons
Younger users may use the App, provided they understand the content and the use is in line with the legal provisions applicable to them.
Responsibility for compliance with these provisions lies with the users or their legal representatives.
10.3 No Personal Data
The App can be used without creating an account. No names, contact information, or other personal data are collected.
To provide age‑appropriate content, the user’s full date of birth (day/month/year) is requested.
This information is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties.
No profiles are created, no health data is stored, and no data is shared with third parties.
10.4 No Adult Content
The App contains scientifically based information on body knowledge, cycle health, and education. It contains no pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
10.5 Responsible Use of Content
Use of the App requires that users apply the information provided responsibly and within the scope of their personal situation. The App does not replace medical advice.
11. Changes to These Terms of Use
We may update these terms as needed. Changes will be communicated in the App or in the store.
